Alabama Student Assistance Program
(ASAP)
The Alabama Student Assistance Program is a state-funded supplemental source of
financial assistance to students with an established financial need. Students with
exceptional need, Pell grant recipients, are given priority in the awarding process.
• Student may receive $300 to $5,000 per academic year
• Eligible students are undergraduate students
• Must be an Alabama resident
• Must attend an eligible Alabama institution
• 50 Alabama institutions participate in this program:
